Hodgdon Yachts is proud to have played a role in the collaboration between Maserati and Vita Power, which resulted in TRIDENTE, an all-electric luxury motorboat. The dayboat, which is made of carbon fiber was constructed to the highest creative standards by Hodgdon’s talented team in Damariscotta, Maine and is an extension of Maserati’s electrification strategy from the road to the water.
TRIDENTE is a 10.5-meter motorboat, designed to tackle daily cruises on lakes and coasts; it can accommodate up to eight passengers; it boasts a cruising speed of 25 knots, a top speed of 40 knots and DC charges in under an hour.
Audrey Hodgdon, Managing Director at Hodgdon Yachts notes, “This is the first fully-electric boat that we have built and we are pleased about our involvement in the project. Our company began over 200 years ago and it’s exciting that electrification is now a part of our story moving into the future.”
